On 09 July 2024 the EPO has revealed the winners of the European Inventor Prize 2024:

• Industry: Team made up of Italy's Fiorenzo Dioni and Germany's Richard Oberle;

• Research: Cordelia Schmid (Germany);

• Small and Medium Business: Olga Malinkiewicz (Poland) and her team;

• No European countries: Masato Sagawa (Japan);

• Career Award: Dame Carol Robinson (Great Britain).

• Young Inventors:
  1º - Rochelle Niemeijer (Netherlands)
  2º - Valentyn Frechka (Ukraine)
  3º - equipa composta por Khaoula Bem Ahmed, Ghofrane Ayari, Souleima Bem Temime e Sirine Ayari (Tunisia).
